Rules & Regulations

General Rules

1. The campground operates on a well and limited water use is recommended. No pressure washing of campers without permission from the owners. 2. Campers are responsible for their actions and the actions of their children, guests and pets. Be respectful of your fellow campers. 3. All pets must have current vaccination records and licenses on file at the office. Pets must always be under owner’s control and should not be left unattended or barking. Please pick up and dispose of pet waste. Be courteous of other people and animals, especially at the dog park. 4. Visitors should check in at the office. Registered camper is responsible for $2 day guest fee and $5 overnight guest fees. Visitors may not bring pets, should park their vehicle in appropriate area or visitor parking and should leave by 10pm. 5. All alcoholic beverages, smoking, and vaping are to be kept at your site. 6. Campfires are to be contained in existing fire rings. No fireworks or firearms are permitted. 7. Small tents may be put up on your site for children’s use. If tents are to be used for overnight guests, the appropriate fees should be paid prior to pitching the tent. 8. Quiet hours are from 11pm-8am.

Vehicle Policies

1. Speed limit is 5 MPH throughout the campground. 2. 2 vehicles per campsite, do not block roadways, please park additional vehicles in visitor parking. 3. Motorcycles and mopeds are not to be ridden within the campground other than for transportation to and from the campgrounds. 4. No unlicensed drivers are allowed to use any motorized vehicles, including golf carts on their own without a responsible adult. 5. No motorized utvs, atvs, motorized bikes, etc. to be used on hiking trails. 6. Golf carts must carry liability insurance.

Garbage

Each camper is responsible for all garbage/recycling created at their site. There is ZERO tolerance for burning any trash. 1. We have a trash and recycling dumpster by the entrance gate for your convenience. 2. Only garbage generated camping should be placed in dumpster. No outside garbage. 3. Campground dumpsters are not for mattresses, furniture, grills or any other big items, these must be taken with you off the premises.

Children Supervision

1. Campers are responsible for their children and their visitors at all times. 2. Children under 6 years of age should always be accompanied by an adult. 3. Children under 15 years of age should not be left unattended at the campgrounds for any reason. 4. Children are not to climb trees anywhere at the campground. 5. All children must be at their campsite by dusk.

The Playground

1. Play at your own risk we will not be held liable for injuries sustained by guests. 2. Glass bottles and containers are not permitted in the playground area. 3. Everyone is responsible for picking up after themselves. The playground is to be used in a respectful and appropriate manner. 4. Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult or responsible person.

THE POND

Use of the pond is at your own risk, there is no lifeguard or any supervision. The following safeguards should be followed at all times and by everyone. 1. No swimming is allowed at any time. 2. Never be at the pond alone and use lifejackets. 3. Small row boats or paddle boats are allowed with lifejackets. 4. Children under the age of 13 must always be accompanied by their parent or guardian. 5. Fishing is allowed. All campers must follow New York State fishing rules and guidelines. We recommend catch and release but, if you choose to keep fish the established limit is two fish per day per campsite. 6. The pond is closed to everyone from dusk to dawn.

Alterations

1.No alterations are to be made to the existing site without permission from the owners. 2. Any new structural alterations need permission from the owners along with permits from the Town of Potter. 3. No structure can be permanent or dug in the ground.
