Campground Overview

Holston Hideaway is a family friendly campsite with River views! Holston Hideaway is a primitive campground. YURT RENTALS fully set up   EVENT RENTAL. Do not supply power, water, or sewer hook up. We do allow generators, can  fill up your water tanks ,but not for consumption. We do provide a few amenities, there is a restroom, a sink area, water Spicket. We also do provide a small table and fire ring at each  campsite. This is a brand new campground, always working on more amenities for our campers. You can also book the campground for your organization, scouts, school, or whatever you wish as a group . Campground is also available for weddings. Reach out for more information at 423-440-4256.

Check In

Check In Time: 1PM | Please be mindful of traffic driving into the park! The roads are narrow, country roads. For campers, the best route is to take Interstate-26, take the Lyn Garden Exit, and make a left on Lyn Garden, a left onto Carter's Valley, a left onto Big Elm Road, and finally a left on Clicktown. Please stay to the right of the loop (one-way) and stop by the office prior to navigating to your site. Do not hesitate to call the office for any navigation questions!

Area Tips

- 5 mins to I26

- 10 mins to the nearest Walmart

- 10 mins to the nearest gas station 

- 15 mins to Bays Mountain Park

Rules

Alcohol

No public intoxication or disorderly behavior No glass bottles. Alcohol to be at your campsite only – drink one for us, but not too many.

Shoes

Shoes on at all times. We are reclaiming this excavated property, no tell what you will find β€˜

Check In/Out Times

Check out 12:00 NOON CHECK IN 1pm-7pm

Cleanliness and Trash

Keep sites clean, including cigarette butts. Can burn paper trash. Pick up campsite before you leave.leave trash in cans by bathroom. Be a good scout 😁

Pet Rules

All pets to be up to date on shots and on a leash at all times – pick up the dog πŸ’© . Pets not left unattended take them with you on a hike 😁

SHOWER TIME

MAX SHOWER TIME 5min We have a very limited water supply and will burn up our well pump if used excessively. Just keep in mind,if acting weird turn it off and call us. Numbers listening in restrooms

Tents and Vehicles

One vehicle per RV site, two per tent site.

Speed Limit

Speed limit 5 mph – this is not Bristol Baby!

RV Policies

26 feet max on all pull behind campers. All pull behinds must be in good condition. No leakage of any fluid.

Dumping Policy

No dumping of black or gray water – dumpsites are close by.

Fire Policy

Do not leave campfires unattended – Smokey the Bear says so. Fire ring provided

No Shortcuts

No shortcuts through others campsites – Honor Thy Neighbor.

What happens in the campground, stays in the campground (and we laugh about it all year long)!

Swim At Your Own Risk

No river access on property. Several places to swim or float the river near camp. No fishing here but just down the stream you can. GREAT FISHING!!

Music

Play your music and enjoy yourself at your campsite. Just be respectful,not too loud, no foul language ;children camping πŸ˜‰

Quiet Hours

Quiet time starts at 10pm –just turn down the radio a little bit, be courteous to others 😁. Enjoy the sound of the river and crickets. Best star view around πŸ’« bring the telescope!
