Campground Overview

Located on the north shore of Big Bear Lake, Lighthouse Trailer Resort and Marina offers guests a great Southern California RV park destination for summer. Whether you fish, hike, or just enjoy this cozy little mountain town, our central location makes Lighthouse the perfect choice. 

Family Owned Campground with full hook up spaces, and a marina that offers slips for rent, as well as, kayak and paddle board rentals. There are 2 bathroom and shower facilities on the grounds and a general store. 

Offering a variety of activities for all ages: lake recreation, a two-mile bike path, fishing—complete with a fish cleaning station, and several mini-trails for hiking. Bicycles, kayaks, paddle boat and stand-up paddle board rentals. 

General Store: Open daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, the store offers beer, ice, propane, camping supplies and food/drink. Built in the early 20's the building has been remodeled in a way to still tap into its vintage charm.

The Big Bear Alpine Zoo is a rehabilitation facility offering injured, orphaned and imprinted wild animals a safe haven; temporarily while they heal or permanently as they are unable to survive on their own. We are extremely proud that 90% of all the animals brought to us for rehabilitation are successfully released back into their native environment.

The Alpine Slide attraction is California's only authentic bobsled ride. Take a scenic chairlift ride to the top, then hop on a specially designed sled and control your own speed down a 1/4 mile long track. In the summer enjoy a refreshing double Water Slide. Also available are Go-Karts and an 18 hole miniature golf course. Parents pay, only if they play!

Head along a wide variety of terrains on several trails, all with spectacular vistas. Escape from the traffic and congestion of the city - where the pavement ends and the "Real West" begins.

One of six solar observatories in the world, this one is here because Big Bear experiences more than 300 days a year of sunshine. Located on North Shore Drive, just west of the Big Bear Ranger Station.

The Champion Lodgepole Pine Trail is an easy one-mile round trip hike located on the south side of Big Bear Lake. The trail features a wet meadow and mature conifers including the largest recorded lodgepole pine (Pinus contorta) in California! The self-guided trail has 14 numbered posts that correspond to an interpretive guide which is available at the trailhead.

Pet Policy

Dogs: ​Up to 2 allowed. No Pit-Bull mixes, American Bulldogs, Dobermans, American Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Mastiff, German Shepherds or Rottweilers. Please clean up after your dog.

Quiet Time

Quiet hours from 10 pm-8 am. Please be mindful of other guests.

Speed Limit

5 MPH — Please watch for children.
