Comfortable, clean, convenient to interstate and stores and food
Upon checking in for an expected 3-night stay, I learned that the Inn's one elevator was not operating. I travel with a VT "handicapped parking" tag (because of a health condition) and find it very difficult to climb stairs. Spent that first night there, but in coming down the next morning, I inquired when the elevator was expected to be repaired. Reply was "no idea". Turns out the elevator had been taken out of service 5 days before, and desk attendant could not give me any information about when it might be fixed. So I checked out. Drove about 10 miles away to check into another chain's hotel for next 2 nights.
Room was very clean, bedding comfortable, staff pleasant and breakfast nice. Our only complaint is that there was a picnic table directly outside our window where smokers congregated until late evening and early morning. You could hear conversations and laughing clearly. Uncomfortable and didn’t lend for a good night’s sleep.
