The attractive hotel is found between the Garden District and the French Quarter. Rooms are streamlined and vary in size. Some interior rooms do not have windows. The hotel is also perfectly situated for visiting some of the city's most respected museums. It’s also a great spot for watching Mardi Gras parades. Whitley made my experience wonderful!!! As someone who is very new to New Orleans, Whitleys southern hospitality and welcoming spirit made me feel very at ease for the duration of my stay!! The hotel had construction-upgrades. The hotel does not have it own parking lot. The lot closest to the hotel was owned by another company and charged very high prices to park and attributed the price to event pricing, because there was a huge convention in town. Fortunately, the Hotel staff helped us find more reasonable parking.
