The room was fair. Basic. Checked the shower and 2 bugs were running on the shower wall. Pictures were taken. I got them with a tissue and disposed them into the toilet. Later we noticed water on the floor coming from the AC. Pictures were taken. It was by the side of the bed and in front. My Husband went down to the lobby and spoke to the manager Jack about the issue. He replied nothing could be done for that day due to maintenance was gone. He would have someone come the next morning and check it out. We were given a towel to lay over the water Also they had no other rooms available for us to move into. Next day no one came to fix the AC. That evening when we returned from our event that we attended there was a bug running across the sink. We were not happy with this and decided to leave and come home. As we checked out we discussed this with Doug and he took the information.. we were then told to call the next day and speak to the manager which we did. All we got was im sorry this happened but I can only give you a 10% discount if you ever decide to come again. This will be given to corporate. I said we should be at least have a reimbursement for 1 day .

Deserted area, damp floors, no towels until we called, room phone call at 12:38 a.m. and no one there when answered, could not retrieve message, lumpy mattress on wire frame, ice machine on our level was not working - just a very uncomfortable experience. Would never stay at a Red Roof again - wildly expensive for a dismal experience. Kinda Bates Motel aura. Initial woman at the desk when I checked in ignored me while she finished up something - I felt I should have been acknowledged at the very least. Our next stays at Hampton Inns felt like a Four Seasons experience.

Bedbugs! Enough said! We always check beds at hotels. We literally were in the room no longer than 5 minutes. Place looked like a homeless shelter. Pictures of the property are deceiving. AAA please remove this hotel from your list and remove the Diamond preferred rating. I had no problem getting a refund.
