Confirmed reservation mid-afternoon, letting hotel know I wouldn't arrive until after midnight; I was told no problem, everything was good, and they'd see me tonight. Upon arrival, was informed there was a problem with my first night's reservation, that the reservation system had double-booked my room. I was sent to another hotel for the first night (paid by the hotel) and would have to check in again the next day. Upon settling into the room, we discovered dishes still in the dishwasher, and about a dozen tins of Icelandic Cod Liver left in one of the cupboards. We left them there, but emptied the dishwasher. The rest of the stay was very good. The showerhead and water pressure was amazing! And the front desk clerk that second night helped us with a working cable to hook my laptop up to the television to watch movies. The hotel is definitely showing its age, but was still a generally pleasant stay.
