Historic Ships in Baltimore, just s. of downtown on Piers 1, 3 and 5 at 301 E. Pratt St., features the USS Constellation, the last all-sail warship built by the U.S. Navy and the only Civil War-era vessel still afloat; the World War II U.S. submarine Torsk, which sank the war’s last enemy combatants; the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Taney, the last ship afloat to have survived the attack on Pearl Harbor; the Lightship Chesapeake, a floating lighthouse designed to aid shipping in the bay; and the 1856 Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse, which stood at the entrance to Baltimore Harbor for 133 years before being moved to the Inner Harbor. Hands-on activities, demonstrations and tours are available. Guided tours are available.
