This Lake Huron town may be best known for its Scottish bagpipe band parade and concert, traditionally held Saturday nights from late June through Labour Day. Locals and visitors alike join the bagpipe parade as it proceeds down Queen Street, returning to the Victoria Park gazebo where the concert takes place. Also popular are the Sunday evening sing-alongs in Dunsmoor Park, early July through Labour Day weekend; Wednesday evening concerts are for those more inclined to merely listen and are offered in July and August.
