Have a sweet tooth? Check out Sugar Factory.

The Sugar Factory is known for its fun, vibrant and sweet menu that features candy-adorned drinks, colorful burgers and whimsical milkshakes. The restaurant’s newest location not only has the signature goblet cocktails, fun vibe and photo-worthy decor that the Sugar Factory is known for, but there are also some unique touches that can only be found in The Bahamas.
Sugar Factory Bahamas’ sleek interior décor is perfect for a fun girls night out, date night or a boozy brunch, while the outside bar area is a bit more relaxed, allowing diners to enjoy a casual bite to eat (and drink).
The menu is fun, offering elevated variations of comfort classics, like gooey fried macaroni and cheese, colorful rainbow sliders, crispy chicken tenders, creamy shrimp or chicken penne alfredo, and a number of unique burgers, like their Big Cheesy (which includes a juicy black angus beef patty topped with melted American cheese, creamy macaroni and cheese, applewood bacon, pickles, crispy onions, lettuce, tomatoes and BBQ sauce.)
The portions are also rather generous and perfect for sharing. Their chicken and waffles, for example, includes several pieces of crunchy fried chicken, atop a waffle that is fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
For those looking to indulge in the sweeter side of the Sugar Factory, their milkshakes are large, colorful and also great for sharing. The “Princess Make a Wish” shake tastes like a mug of childhood and includes a creamy vanilla milkshake in a glass covered in white chocolate and sprinkles that is then topped with a frosted cupcake, a Kit Kat bar and a marshmallow pinwheel. For those looking for a more adult drink, the espresso-infused “Campfire Spiked S’mores” milkshake can be enjoyed with or without a whiskey kick.
A trip to the Sugar Factory would also not be complete without their celebrity-inspired goblet drinks. They come ice-cold, and the wide range of options include light, refreshing and fruity drinks like their “Fuzzy Peach Penguin Mango” or the Hennessy-infused “Henny Moon” for those looking for a bit more of a punch.
The Sugar Factory cafe and candy shop is also worth a visit and features a candy wall, unique sweets, pastries, ice cream, bubble tea and coffee drinks.
The Sugar Factory is now open and offers indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a private dining space. For parties of 10 or more, they also offer special dining and drink packages.
RESERVATIONS: Reservations are recommended for Sugar Factory dining but are not needed for the cafe. Please visit their website for current hours and days of operation.

Hot. Buttered. Rum. Corn bread …. Need we say more?

Marcus Samuelsson is a world-renowned chef who has not only appeared on a number of television shows and published several cookbooks, but he is also a talented restaurateur. Chef Marcus has built an impressive resume as a judge on Top Chef, Iron Chef and Chopped, but it is his skill in the kitchen that has made him a highly respected name in the culinary world.
Chef Marcus’ newest restaurant, appropriately named “Marcus,” offers the unique flavors that the expertly trained chef is known for, while incorporating local ingredients and dishes.
Marcus the restaurant has an airy and elegant vibe, with an exceptionally attentive and friendly team who is eager to start diners’ meals off with a plate of their signature hot, buttered rum corn bread or a cocktail (or two). While corn bread may not sound that exciting all on its own, this one should not be missed and is moist, tender, sweet, indulgent and a great start to any meal at the restaurant.
Marcus specializes in steaks and super-fresh, and often locally caught, seafood. Starters range from Bahamian conch salad and tuna tartare to a seafood cake and conch fritters. But their seafood tower is a great option for diners who may have difficulty choosing just one item, and it offers a selection of fresh oysters, shrimp, crab and more. Main course options include wood-fire grilled meats as well as specialty dishes like the Fried Yard Bird served with creamed kale, sweet potato mash, sour orange hot honey and piri piri, or the tamarind-glazed half chicken.
Many diners may find themselves full after a delicious meal of corn bread, shrimp and grits or cocktails like the vodka-, grapefruit- and elderflower-infused “Rake 'N Scrape,” but it is highly recommended to save room for dessert. The “Sunday AF” is a mammoth portion of ice cream, freshly made donuts and other toppings that is perfect for sharing.

Love ‘Marcus,’ but looking for something a bit more casual? Try Streetbird.

Chef Marcus Samuelsson’s second restaurant at the Baha Mar Resort, Streetbird, is located in a beachfront food truck and offers a simple menu with big flavor. Their top menu item, the Crispy Bird Sandwich, has a juicy chicken fillet topped with hot pepper mayo and a bit of a kick! Other menu items include Escovitch Chicken and Plantain Waffles, conch and salted cod fritters, jerk sticky wings, buffalo cauliflower and finally, sweet potato doughnuts for dessert. In addition to ice-cold beers, Streetbird also serves a “Yes Chef” cocktail, which packs a punch of vodka, fresh mint, ginger, honey, lemon and berbere spice.

Pizza Lab is a perfect spot for a casual bite.

The Swimming Pig, Latitudes, Meze Grill, Smugglers and Wreckers in Spanish Wells, are all sister restaurants under the Titan Hospitality umbrella. And, Pizza Lab continues the company’s mission to offer diverse dining options that span a wide range of international cuisine.
While Latitudes features East Asian fusion options and Meze Grill is Mediterranean-influenced, the Pizza Lab is inspired by the cuisine of Italy and features classics like lasagna, eggplant parmesan and pasta.
However, the star of this restaurant’s menu is the pizza. Options include made-to-order or by-the-slice New York- or Sicilian-style pies. Staples like cheese, pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and meatball are available for those looking for a simple and classic slice. But, Pizza Lab also has several specialty pizzas that range from their roasted wild mushroom and truffle cream topped “Funghi” pizza, to the slightly less traditional “Figs and Prosciutto,” which includes mozzarella, figs, prosciutto, arugula, a balsamic glaze and almonds.
Ideal for a quick or casual bite, Pizza Lab offers all-day dining and a selection of sandwiches, salads and a dessert display filled with pastries and gelatos that are perfect for a quick snack, on the go.
