Cayman Islands Brewery (Caybrew)

Visit the Caybrew tap room to enjoy their beers, including nine beers on tap. In addition to their four core beers (flagship Caybrew lager, Caybrew Light, White Tip, and Freestyle), they also offer a selection of seasonal brews. Bartenders are on hand to explain each beer, and you can enjoy samples, flights (including half-flights of four beers and full flights of nine beers), and pitchers, or play a round of mini beer pong, shuffleboard, and foosball. Visit the brewery independently or as part of a self-drive scooter tour around the island.

• There’s a gift shop offering merchandise on-site. Beers and growlers can be taken to go as well.

• The taproom is wheelchair accessible.

• Brewery tours are no longer available.

Caybrew is located at 366 Shamrock Rd. in the Prospect neighborhood of Grand Cayman. It’s around a 10-minute drive from George Town and the cruise port. Taxis are an easy way to reach the brewery. Buses going to Bodden Town or East End from George Town and the Seven Mile Beach area also pass by the brewery regularly. There’s also parking on-site.

The brewery is open from 10am to 6pm Monday through Thursday, 10am to 8pm Friday and Saturday, and closed on Sundays and all public holidays. Special events, including tap takeovers, fundraisers, and seasonal celebrations, are held at the brewery occasionally. Different seasonal brews are also available at different times of the year.

In addition to Cayman Islands Brewery, Grand Cayman is also home to 19-81 Brewing Co. Established in 2017 and named after the coordinates of the Cayman Islands, 19-81 Brewing Co. offers a Cayman Blonde, Island Session, and Tropical IPA, along with occasional limited editions, at their tap room located just east of George Town and elsewhere on the island.
