The hotel is really outdated and needs an uplift and remodel. Chair in room broken, when we arrived to our room had an old stall smell. Was really disappointed. We told our aaa agent we wanted to be near the Michigan coliseum and it was not close by at all actually 8-9 miles away it wasted a lot of time and money for us to uber
This hotel was weird - the beds and bathroom were very clean - most important to me so that was great. On the other hand, the carpet needed a good cleaning (or to be replaced) and there was almost constant pot smoking in the neighboring room - to each their own, but it’s supposed to be a non-smoking hotel.
