The room was a good size, clean, air conditioning and a good bed. However, there is no bellman to help you with your luggage. There is no minibar to keep drinks cold. There is no ice bucket or ice machine available. They tell you to go to the bar. There are plenty of windows, but the room is very dark after the sun goes down. There isn't enough lighting in the room for at night. The TV didn't offer any channels in English. The front desk staff was not very friendly. I gave them stamped postcards to mail and they looked at me like they didn't know what to do with them. Eventually, they agreed to mail them. They don't provide wash clothes. The restaurant had an expensive breakfast buffet, but had an extremely limited menu (a salad, a burger, mini corn dog, mac & cheese, an imitation philly cheese steak) that was also very expensive. It was over a 15 minute walk to get to restaurants. . It was a good location to walk to museums around museum island. It was about a mile from Alexanderplatz.
