This hotel is built in the style of a 19th-century Rodick House. The classically decorated rooms' large windows allow you to enjoy the sunshine in the summer and the colorful leaves in the fall. Smoke free premises. 71 units, some two bedrooms and kitchens. 4 stories, interior corridors.

Positive: 1. Breakfast 2. Location 3. Swimming pool with jacuzzi 4. The staff installed the shower head with the flexible hose in the bathroom upon our request 5. Washers and dryers in the basement 6. Parking Negative: 1. The mattress in the bed was too soft in comparison with the mattress we have at home 2. No restaurant at the hotel. If they had a restaurant with the quality similar to the quality of their breakfast, it would be an ideal hotel If I go to Bar Harbor in the future, I will stay at the Bar Harbor Grand Hotel.

The staff was really friendly, I had a defective coffee maker and brought down to the front desk and they got me a new one right away. We had come back from being in town all day and they had whoopie pies in the lobby which were very good and I liked how you could get coffee or tea 24/7 which was really nice. I was in town to run a 1/2 marathon the hotel was only .2 miles away from where it was taken place. We didn't need to use our car at all we were within walking distance to everything that we wanted to do.
