The desk clerk informed me that an employee had been shot at this hotel the night before. The AAA rate was more expensive than the posted "walk-in" rate at the front desk. The room was clean, but there were no towels, and no way to get towels. The desk clerk tried very hard, but no one was answering her phone calls and the management does not allow her to give out towels. She said this happens every night. The room's smoke detector had been removed. There was no way to call the front desk in the room--I had to walk down to the front desk three times for towels. I told the desk clerk I would be asking the management for my money back the next morning, and the management did refund my money. It also looked like there was drug traffic and prostitution at the hotel. Should not be on AAA web site or even have Wyndham branding.
