I was a little nervous reading the initial reviews, but Beacon Hotel was a lovely place to stay. I showed up REALLY late due to my flight, and they helped get me checked in. I also ended up having to check out at 3:00 AM to catch another flight, and the front desk was super helpful. As for the hotel room itself, it was incredibly nice, quiet and large. I even had my own fridge and stove, which was a nice discovery! I know some of the reviews mentioned the lack of central air - yes, it was a bit stuffy in the room, but honestly, there was a huge AC unit if I wanted it. It was also an easy walk back from my work conference, so I managed to save a little bit of money in not having to take public transport.
It was a horrible experience- false advertising to say the least

They charged $30 additionally a NIGHT for bottled water (not cold), access to gym (didn’t use), and WiFi access. The guy at the front desk that checked me in never said a word about the additional fees. That amount is outrageous per night. I could have booked a different hotel for less, but a better quality had I known about the added $30/night. You should warn people about their additional “Facility Fees-“ their business practice is shady.
