If you have the opportunity to stay here, do it. Peaceful, friendly, good location on Andy Divine . Blissful warm lobby with roaring hot fireplace, big clean cafe with friendly warm staff.

The chemical smell in the room hit us hard. It was so strong, our asthma had us wheezing all night and feeling like we were suffocating. I laid pool towels I brought from home across the beds so I and my kid could sleep. I had just driven 14 hours. I was exhausted. We almost left in middle of night but we were exhausted. The AC was not working in the room. I complained to management in the morning. Response was that was the standard disinfectant spray they spray in all the rooms on all the beds. More like they threw buckets of that spray into that room. This was horrible!!!!!!!! I advised my husband to never book us there again. He changed his next travel plans to avoid that Best Western in Holbrook. Management did not care. They informed me they’d let housekeeping know and that was it!!! Not I’m sorry, here’s a discount, nothing! We travel a lot. They have lost our business. We’ll find another hotel. Ohhhhh and they let a 5 yr old with a 9 yr old swim unattended and screaming until 9pm in the pool. Other guests arrived making all kinds of noise after 10:45pm. I had to be back on the road by 5:am. Missed my alarm and didn’t leave till 6:am. BTW we stayed at Best Western in Moriarty, New Mexico 3 weeks later and it was wonderful!!! No chemical smells. Clean room. Comfortable bed and awesome bathroom set up. Room temp was great. Well lit parking lot. Great breakfast and friendly staff. 2 different states and complete opposite service. The hotels were total opposites. I don’t typically complain but this time I’m not letting it go.
