good price during golfing season. great breakfast. average hotel.

Though I normally travel alone, this trip a friend joined me. We were looking for a central location, near some restaurants and shopping, and in a quiet neighborhood. We found all of those at this location. In addition, this BW offers daily housekeeping service and a good breakfast plus an evening snack with beverages at no extra charge. Under normal circumstances I'd rate this as five stars, but we had plumbing problems in our first room (we loved the floorplan!) and had to move. Cannot say one neutral word about the staff: they were all Great, with particular thanks to James who did almost all the move for us. The second room (still a mini-suite) wasn't as nice as the first and neither of the televisions worked. We were so tired, we didn't complain, but notified the desk at checkout. Not a bad stay, but just short of a perfect 5 stars!

the floors in our room were "dirty". If we walked around barefoot or in our socks, they quickly turned black. The shower head was difficult to reach and adjust; some of the nozzles not working. HOWEVER, I would like to compliment the food service. the breakfasts, happy hour and food choices were excellant.

This hotel is disgusting! It's dirty and loud due to thin walls and floors and the staff just seems indifferent in general. When checking in, another guest came to complain that he'd been to 3 ice machines and they didnt't work. That was on 2/7/24 and they finally came to repair the day we left, which was 2/11/24. We stayed at this location because my sister had already checked in. She stayed because she travels with her pets and it's difficult to find a hotel that takes pets. She told us ahead of time that it is not like other Best Westerns we've stayed at in the past. The list of items is long...besides being dirty, there's no weather strippng on the door and the heater needed to run constantly because the room was so cold. We pushed a towel up against the bottom to help keep out some of the cold air, the sofa bed probably has the oiginal mattress (apparently from the 70's) it's only a couple of inches thick, the sheets they left in the room for the sofa bed were dirty and I had to call for clean ones. When showering, it was difficult to regulate the water to keep from scalding ourselves. Shame on the poor management of this location!

The room we had on the 19th was dark and badly in need of remodeling. The pillows were too hard. It was an ADA room but when you shower, the floor gets wet and I almost fell. The breakfast was good.
