A good hike from the property takes you to downtown, the wharf, and the Del Monte Shopping center. Rooms offer a warm decor with coordinated bedding and a task table with two chairs. Smoke free premises. 53 units. 2 stories (no elevator), exterior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

I would give it 3.5 stars overall. 4 stars for cleanliness and for comfortable beds. We were on the first floor and woken up early both mornings by the footsteps from the family staying above us. The free breakfast options were impressive with "make your own waffles" (my kds loved that -.including sprinkles and chocolate chips) and lots of other food options and we took breakfast back to our room. There was a steep slope leading to our room (behind the pool) which would worry me for elderly people or someone with a bad back (and for myself when wearing dress shoes) but there are rooms that avoid that area. Parking and area in general felt safe. Happy that the floors were not carpeted. Front desk provided us with complimentary toothbrushes which was very helpful.
We called and cancelled Best Western, we were unable to get through there was a lot of construction on highway 5 they closed 3 or 4 off ramps, and unable to find highway 1. They closed most of the on ramp unable to follow some of the instructions. The only way to get through we had to drive to Sacramento at least 3 hours away. We email AAA agent and tell her what happen. Maybe next time we should take a schedule tour instead of driving our self.

Older building, clean but needs some updating in the restroom. Location not walking distance to downtown area.
