This is an older hotel that has not been updated. It's clean, but it feels old (not "historic-old," simply "not updated-old").
We love Best Western Rio Grande in Albuquerque. You can easily walk to Old Towne and museums, there is a running path down the street, there's a Southwestern decor, the staff is great, and the free breakfasts are sit-down meals with an exhaustive menu in an attached restaurant.

We checked in very late and checked out at 4:00am. Very accommodating and offered us a granola bar and water for the road. We weren’t there long enough to give a fair rating. Front desk was very nice and warned us about traffic for the Balloon Fiesta and gave us better directions.
