We asked for and needed a assessable room, first floor. When we arrived they had us assigned upstairs, no elevator, in a non assessable room. After a person walking by said they would give us their room the owner/clerk moved people around and made room for us. No bars in the shower, toilet was really low. My husband just had back surgery and this was very upsetting. Plus we were there just to sleep, didn’t even go to the breakfast they had. The rate for Sat and Sun were outrageously high for this terrible room. We stay at this Best Western every year because I go to visit my sister. We stayed Wed, Thur, Fri and left early on Sat because the rate was so high. We are 74 and 73, an AARP, AAA member but that didn’t matter.
