Best Western Pocatello Inn

Our room was clean and modern. The staff was courteous and professional. The air conditioning worked well, not noise yet maintained comfortable temperatures. The breakfast provided high protein and delicious options. It also had close access to the freeway and gas stations.

Made reservation through my AAA Auto Club App. prior to arrival. Arrived at the hotel to find a large construction project going on. There is a hotel of a different brand being built on the same property. There were big rigs and other construction vehicles in the lot. I did not see a safe place to park. I did not want my vehicle damage by moving big rigs and other construction activities. I immediately called Best Western and told them what I had observed and requested either a refund on this reservation or credit towards my stay at the Black Foot Idaho location. I was told I made my reservation through a "third party" and there was nothing they would do to help me. Third Party was AAA Auto Club. I will NEVER use AAA Auto Club for my travel plans. When I called AAA Auto Club, they told me they would NOT help me and it would be up to the manager of the Pocatello Idaho hotel to issue a refund or credit. They offered NO help what so ever. Just a too bad so sad ***** to be you attitude. I've been a member of AAA Auto Club and this is the first time I've requested any travel assistance and I can see it will be my last. Same goes for Best Western. Not a brand I will use for my travel. There are lots of other hotel brands to choose from and all within a few feet of Best Western. Especially the Pocatello Idaho location. That new hotel will be built within a few feet and operational very soon.
