First of all, I would like to acknowledge the young male Front Desk Clerk on August 5, that got us into the room a little early after we got off our cruise. Now, the A/C was blasting to mask the smell of old dirty moldy carpet, some of the channels on one the TVs didn’t work even after the supposed restarts, discovered that night tiny little bugs invaded the room and any food that was left out had to be thrown away, this was reported and to resolve the issue, they sent one of their maintenance workers over with a cleaning product to wipe down wherever we pointed to, which did nothing The refrigerator was not working properly even turned up to Max level so food deteriorated quickly. My daughter brought me an Edible Arrangement and I couldn’t finish eating the melting fruit and chocolate. I got sick from the moldy smell of the room with headache, stuffy nose, puffy eyes, sore and scratchy throat. When my daughter reported what was going on with our room all we got was that there were no more rooms. I picked this place because of the two separate bedrooms and kitchen and was so disappointed otherwise with the lack of concern for someone’s health and wellbeing.. It is now August 12 and I am still recovering from the symptoms I experienced and can still smell that old wet moldy smell. I would recommend with prejudice only due to location and design of the room reserved.
