The hotel is located in as good a place as there is in Hood River and the grounds are a 10. Just what you'd expect from 1928. I travel and look for "interesting" places to stay so this was right up my alley. Here's a hint. I felt that a shoulder month 2 night stay should have garnered me a room with a view at a savings. Encouraging customers to become frequent flyer's by offering more is smart business. So, offering average pricing on average rooms is, average.
