The drapes and curtain were soiled. There was no alarm clock or telephone in the room. The smoke detector was missing upon entry to the room. The curtain wand was broken. Several pieces of furniture was chipped. The desk clerk, who claims he is the owners son, is extremely obnoxious. Upon check in we were told it was mandatory to allow housekeeping to enter our room every other day to ensure we were not being untidy even though trash was scattered on the grassy part of the property and the dumpster overflowed with trash. We also had to sign a document stating we would not use extra appliances such as an air Fryer although we saw another guest return from her car with a pan in her hand and food dripping over the sides of the pan. They have a no pets policy but a dog can be heard barking every time one exits or enters the side door. The Do Not Disturb(DND) sign has language I have never seen on a DND sign. Personally when I have a hotel stay DND means just that. The parking is tight and limited but semi-ample. The side doors do not work properly so many guests use a rock to wedge the door open. The ice machine was broken the entire week we were there. On the other hand, the room is modernly decorated and the room was clean. The stairwells carpet appeared to be new and the walls looked freshly painted. The beds are plenty fluffy and the bathroom was well redone.

Very comfortable room for our brief overnight stay while travelling home.
