Pool, gym, lobby, and restaurant were under construction during our stay. Was expecting some form of compensation for the inconvenience. Was given one free breakfast on a limited menu. Would have appreciated some points added to my account, as we typically stay at Marriott properties when traveling and expect to travel more frequently now that we are retired.

Really enjoyed my time here, but original room was booked as non-smoking and upon arrival one could tell it at least used to be. Carpet was tacky and had a strong odor. Clothes were permeated with odor of room almost immediately and I ended up having to wash them, which is why I’m only giving 3 stars. The attendant at the front desk, Dana, was very kind and gave me an amazing upgrade (which was very generous when I had only asked for a different room) and was also given late check out by another attendant who’s name I can’t remember. The upgrade had an amazing view! I would definitely return and recommend hotel, just wish the room had been properly taken care of before allowing guests in it.
