Built in 1939, this landmark building was officially opened by the Queen Mother and her husband, King George VI. You'll find smaller upscale rooms up to exceptionally spacious and gorgeous suites. Lovely public spaces feature luxury boutiques and visiting celebrities can sometimes be spotted in the stylish and chic lounge. Smoke free premises. 556 units. 15 stories, interior corridors.

The hotel itself is pretty and clean. The service was sub standard- loud music under our room during quiet hours at an event that we took appropriate measures to resolve on our end but the hotel staff did not on their end. Upon checking out we again addressed this and hotel staff said they would email us a resolution and after four days, we have yet to hear from them. Disappointed.
This is a beautiful facility, well appointed, great staff, and the accommodations are well worth the cost given my experience.
Hotel was not exceptional. Our room on 2nd floor was not near our traveling companions who were located on 4th floor.
