This is the closest hotel to the cruise port. Guests boarding ships can walk out the door and enter the check-in waiting area that typically forms directly across the street. All rooms are lovely; but ask for a room on a high floor with a water view for a glimpse at the large shipping containers in port. This hotel opened in 2018, and offers modern accommodations with Smart TV's and digital key technology that allows you to use your phone as a room key. The Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, Leader Bank Pavilion, and Seaport restaurants and nightlife are within a mile. Smoke free premises. 252 units. 14 stories, interior corridors. Very clean, comfortable, modern room with wonderful staff - housekeeping, morning breakfast, front desk, and a manager who went out of his way almost immediately to help with a minor issue. And housekeeping was especially friendly and competent.

Hotel seemed very new and it was a really great stay. I was in town for a conference happening at the Westin / Omni / Exhibition center, and this was very close by (~10-min walk). The immediate area is still being built up, so it's a bit far from restaurants right now but it should be even better as that happens.
