This well-kept, older property features comfortable, spacious rooms. It's conveniently located next to the interstate highway, area attractions and retail shopping. Smoke free premises. 98 units. 4 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Overpriced, especially for pets. It was $50 and no where available on the web site was the cost listed. The breakfast was fabulous. Parking for elder citizens was a bit distant although flat walking.
We were guests at the Hampton Inn Matamoras/Milford, PA on Oct. 8th, 2023, and on Oct. 14th, 2023. We booked our reservations through AAA based on their recommendations. After traveling all day on the 14th, we arrived late evening - tired and road weary. We checked in at the front desk, and went to our assigned room, 405. There was no heat, the TV did not work, and the refrigerator wasn’t cold, and no soap in the bathroom. After some time, the front desk clerk was finally able to get the heat and TV going, but the refrigerator never really fully functioned. The shower in the bathroom was handicap accessible, and somewhat of a problem to operate, as there were no instructions as to how to operate the dual controls. First impressions are important. As we walked to the entrance of the Inn on the 14th, to check in, we noticed two gentlemen sitting on a bench near the entrance, drinking beer, and putting the empty bottles behind them. On the 8th there was a gentleman sitting in a lobby chair to the right in an underwear shirt apparently sleeping. We saw him again on the 14th in the same attire with a laundry bag in the lobby, and the next morning walking through the breakfast area in the same underwear type shirt. So we assume he has some connection to the Inn. Hopefully, our experience is not typical, but we felt that AAA should be aware of it.
No complaints other than hairdryer did not work in bathroom.
