This 1931 classic hotel’s rare Brazilian rosewood, German silver-nickel fixtures and soaring ceiling murals are remarkable French Art-Deco treasures. Guest rooms have more limited baths. The dining room has a soaring ceiling adorned with intricate artwork, including a mural of Apollo in his chariot accompanied by swans. The hotel is located in the heart of Cincinnati within easy walking distance of many restaurants, the convention center and the stadiums. Some rooms vary widely in size; suites are quite spacious. The king size bed was hard and lumpy. Tried to put a sweetener in my coffee and every pack was hard as rock candy. Needless to say I had black coffee. The room was small and kinda cramped. Otherwise the hotel was beautiful and in a very nice area of downtown Cincinnati. Everyone I encountered in relation to the Hilton was very nice and welcoming.
