Holiday Inn Express & Suites Beaumont - Oak Valley

One of the best hotels I have stayed at in a while. Full breakfast daily from 6:30a-9:30a from biscuits and gravy to pancakes and fresh fruit. I enjoyed the room - my only regret was that I didn't get to spend more time in it (I was there for and in a wedding). This hotel was conveniently located off the freeway, next to a golf course, and across from a small shopping center which had a Rite Aid, bar (that serves food, The Sand Trap I believe), and a sushi restaurant among other things. The hotel does not have a place to purchase food or drink once the breakfast buffet is closed at 9:30am. I did notice minimal vending machines near the elevator, but they weren't working. The room does have a mini fridge, small microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. DirecTV in the room which was nice. Room had a small couch, coffee table, and desk. Bathroom had a nice light up mirror when you flipped the switch. They use J.R. Watkins bath products, and it was nice to have the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner readily available from a wall mounted unit to use. The bed was super comfortable, but I did have a hard time falling asleep as I could hear whoever was above me stomping around and making noise. I could also hear people in the hall. Other than that, I really liked staying at this hotel and would highly recommend it. Parking was plentiful, and the area seemed pretty safe. I believe there is a Shell gas station next to the hotel, so a win win.
