This hotel is located on a quiet street away from traffic. Guest rooms are well decorated and comfortably furnished with a mini-fridge, microwave and work desk; many add a cozy chaise lounge. Smoke free premises. 91 units. 4 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

We were disappointed for several reasons. First, our room was not cleaned or tidy up. Fresh towels were left in the room on the desk. They were't even hung up. Beyond that, the trash was not emptied and overflowing on floor. The bed was not made. It was disappointing to return to our room after a difficult day, only to find a mess. Also, the bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable. As a rewards customer, or even as a regular customer, I was unaware and frankly bothered that a $50.00 deposit was required. (Usually $100.00. non HGI members). That said, the staff was friendly and accommodating, especially in the dining room. We have stayed at Visalia location many times since it first opened and would like to continue. However, if we experience the same customer service (with regard to room service) we will look else where. Your response would be appreciated
