Hotel Del Sol

We made a reservation for four nights for a king-size bed. Our flight arrived late evening, and the front desk recipients told us we were upgraded to a junior suite. After walking in and almost tripping over separate layers of unsafe flooring, we discovered the room had a queen bed. The place was half full, and I went to the front desk and asked if they had any rooms with a king bed. Our room was switched on the spot. We had to pack and unpack again to go to another floor with a king-size bed. The heather in the new room blew cold air all night, and the heat was not working. We checked out in the morning and booked another reservation through the AAA website. I was assured that we would get a refund for the extra three paid nights, but we were charged a cancelation fee of $144 even though the same website through AAA booked our new reservation for the additional three nights at a different hotel. In addition, the online photos of the hotel AAA were photoshopped and misleading, looked much smaller, and nothing that the room looked like. The breakfast and selection were the best of all the experience, but this place had no room to sit down as the setup was in their small lobby, and guests had to bump into each other. I would hesitate to use AAA on our next travel!
