Opened in 1910, this was the first hotel built in Berkeley. Beautifully restored with a retro-contemporary décor, the property features original chandeliers and marble flooring in the lobby area. Smoke free premises. 199 units. 5 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

There were 2 of us in the room and although we requested 2 washcloths and hand towels, we only got 2 on one day of the 6 nights we were there. Also, the cancellation policy is very poor. We needed to cancel several weeks before we got there and the same day the travel advisor mistakenly made the reservation, but you would not let us!!!
