We were very impressed with the cleanliness and the breakfast was the best we have had at a hotel.
The hotel charged extra taxes and fees on top of the total AAA price, which has already included taxes and fees. Sent email to the hotel about this issue. But no reply so far. No more Hyatt Place in future for us.
We had a problem with some kind of large moth in our room. We thought we took care of it when we killed the first one and then the second. By the time we left in the next morning we had had 7 moths show up in our room. Large enough that their erratic flying/hitting the ceiling was loud enough to keep me awake. I told the desk clerk about it the next morning. She assured me that the manager would follow up and call me when she got in that morning. Still no word from the manager about rectifying about the situation after about 3 days. This has left a very bad impression of the Hyatt service. This was a very unusual situation and we had to drive for hours the next day on very little sleep.

We expected better from the Hyatt Place brand. The breakfast, in particular, was underwhelming compared with others we have stayed in recently. And we were surprised that the king room we had reserved was oversold - we ended up taking a two queen room.
