This modern hotel offers easy access to the Mall of America, Minneapolis/St. Paul airport and downtown Minneapolis via shuttle service or light-rail train. Guest rooms are so quiet that you won't hear the jet airliners flying overhead. Artwork featuring pops of color and abundant natural light courtesy of large windows enhance the overall ambience. Poor location for guests to load/unload. Front door is mainly used for a bus shuttle service and with it coming and going no way for you to. So you pull around to the parking one lide and back of the back. Now you have to walk to whole hotel just to get a luggage cart as they are only at the front desk! Now that you got your cart the only way to get to any floors is to make your way to the front of the hotel where the only elevations are. Why have a nice pool with a view when its freezing cold! I get if it was summer but come on. Our two kids hard a hard time getting into it. Not a family friendly hotel. Had a funeral at the Fort so what can you do... our room looked like it hadn't been used for atleast one month as the clock was still set wrong... so it was "Clean" just more dusty. TV didn't work called front desk and a service came right way from his painting duties. Got it fix was a nice guy. Next morning boss came by to follow up as I was told he didn't close out his work ticket... well he fixed it get off his back! I didn't need to know any of your management problems. Guess if I was single or traveling only for business hotel would work... but at that point plenty to choose from.
Besides not having a microwave, they say they have a refrigerator. I did not keep any of the food I brought. I had baby food and breastmilk that spoiled. The website states all the amenities. They say Starbucks coffee- and it wasn’t Starbucks. My furnace also started making of a noise. No one ever came to take my trash out or get new towels. I brought all these issues to person at the front desk and he just stared at me. He offered for someone to come take a look at things but by then my baby food was spoiled. The ice machine kept running out of ice as well. This was my one way to try to save my food but it didn’t work.
