Intercityhotel Dresden

Hotel located in an "iffy" area (across from train station) and rather remote for feeling safe. My grandson always walked us to door of hotel. Had to ask for extra towels as there was no door hanger to tell housekeeping to bring in clean towels or do any service for us. Had to ask for extra pillows also. Bathroom has no fan, but that seems common in most European hotels. Staff was always very helpful and pleasant. Hotel's breakfast was a set price and was around $20.00, which was too much for what we got at our other hotels with our room price. But, to be fair, Intercity Hotel was a lot less expensive then the other hotels where we stayed. Although the other hotels were in Italy, so maybe Germany is less expensive for lodging. Security was very good. Had to use key to enter front door after dark, and to use on the elevators going up.
