Room was nice, but the sink had a slow drain. We were there for a soccer tournament and had 8am games on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Saturday morning at 6:45am, I asked the kitchen staff if my daughter and I could just grab a yogurt and bagel that were already set out because she had to be at the field which was 20 minutes away by 7:15am. The kitchen staff lady was kind enough to let us, but we were yelled at from across the room by the front desk that we couldn't get food. Again, the kitchen staff lady was kind enough to let them know that she said we could. On Sunday morning, there wasn't a kitchen staff available for me to ask, so I asked the lady at the front desk. I explained the situation, but she said we had to wait 10 minutes and couldn't get any of the food that was already set out until 7am. So we my daughter had to play her game without having eaten anything. Her game ended with just enough time for us to get back to the hotel 5 minutes before 10am to find that the kitchen staff had already put away most of the food. If they won't allow people to get food 5-10 minutes before the breakfast counter opens, then they shouldn't be putting food away 5-10 minutes before they close. Also, if the hotel is part of the "Stay to Play" program coordinated by these tournaments, the hotels should provide earlier breakfast times, at least 6am (preferably 5am), so players can eat and digest a light breakfast before they play at 8am.
