Hotel staff were great! Room was ok except for desk and bureau/TV stand had broken pieces, the chair in the room was old and you sank right down to the bottom when sitting in it. No fridge or coffee maker.
While the location is great and the lobby is nice, the room was incredibly run down and felt very dirty. The sofa bed was not made up and when we called at 1:00 in the morning we got the runaround. There were also not enough towels for our party.

Excellent location: access to traiand bus statios, theater/ties square, central park, mid-town, subway up or downtown. Bedsheets very clean. Carpet in room is old.

If you want to visit all the sights in NYC you can’t beat the location. The folks on staff during my stay were wonderful, helpful and polite. I am surprised the hotel is only 33 years old as the rooms, while they felt clean, they need some TLC/renovations to look clean.
