The staff makes this hotel…friendly, attentive and sincere. It is a beautiful boutique hotel, modern, clean and inviting. Our room was very nice, very very clean and most comfortable bed we’ve experienced during our Italian journey. I was tempted to go down to 4 stars only because the room was teeny tiny….regardless, it was comfortable and although the bathroom was also teeny tiny, it had all the amenities and was elegantly appointed. Keep in mind we are well aware to expect tiny rooms in europe…but we have been fortunate to also experience the unexpected…large roomy rooms. The area felt safe and we were told it was within walking distance of some sites and restaurants….we aren’t walkers. Back to the staff…..from front desk to rooftop bar…very attentive, extremely helpful and most importantly …sincere in their efforts to welcome and assist. Breakfast was a very nice buffet, and as many European restaurant do, they attempt to please their American guests with eggs and a hot breakfast meat. Check out the kosher restaurant directly across the alley from the hotel …best and friendliest wait service (and great food) during our Italian experience thus far. We would stay here again….the staff is what truly sets this hotel apart.
