The spacious lobby of this mountain hotel has a modern design with beautiful wood and stone accents. Stylish rooms feature hand-painted wood moose art, solid hickory furniture and large showers. One unique aspect of the property is the historical 1920s house in the center courtyard. It was moved during the building of the hotel and lifted in by crane after completion. Inside, the two-story unit is decorated in keeping with the period but with modern comforts. If you are looking for a unique lodging experience, then this would be it. Smoke free premises. 175 units, some two bedrooms and houses. 4 stories, exterior corridors.

While I enjoyed our visit. Our room was very small and the heating system was very inadequate. No heat in the bathroom so stepping out of the shower was COLD. I understand during our visit the outside temperatures were somewhat chilly but didn’t justify no heat in a bathroom.

There was an unexpected amenity charge each day.
Moose hotel was beautiful, and rooms were really nice. It was quite costly however and coffee service should be earlier for those wishing to go to the lakes and beat the traffic.
