Room was dirty. The floors in particular were filthy. Sheets were Grey and stained.

We, a family of 4, visited Ithaca for a Cornell tour on Oct 5th and 6th, 2023. We booked a hotel near the Cornell Ithaca campus, assuming that being part of the Choice Group would ensure quality. However, we were disappointed. The room had a dank smell and feel, the refrigerator was not cold enough, and the bathroom floors were sticky. Housekeeping required prior notice for cleaning, which was not communicated to us. When we asked for fresh towels, we had to leave the soiled ones in the corridor and later fetch additional ones from reception. The room was dusty, and the coffee machines seemed uncleaned. The quilts had blood spots and a foul smell. Breakfast was minimal with no protein options, and even the fruit looked stale. We ended up skipping breakfast at the hotel.

The hotel was under renovation and we where booked into a 1st floor room that had a sliding glass door to the parking lot. The room was very drafty from the glass door and it was extremely cold even snowed the night we arrived. There where other hotels in the area which would have suited m better. I don't feel like the agent was looking out for my best interests.
