Just a few blocks from the Smithsonian museums and Capitol Hill and a half-block from Federal Center SW Metro station, this hotel provides a convenient location for both business and leisure guests. Spacious studio, one- and two-bedroom suites feature pull-out sofa, large desk, and an efficiency equipped with two-burner cooktop, full-size fridge, microwave oven, dishwasher and basic cooking utensils. The two-bedroom units have an oven in lieu of the cooktop. Complimentary hot breakfast is served daily in the lobby. The hotel was nice everything was within walking distance. My only issue was that I was told by AAA representative that I could put a hold on my credit card and then pay when I arrive at the hotel. When I got to the hotel I was told something different, which was frustrating because I would like to be given correct information. There needs to be consistency.
Excellent walking/biking distant to all Washington DC Monuments. Free Breakfast was Super Good!!

Residence inn was in a convenient location to get quick Uber service or use Metro. Metro station was 1 1/2 blocks away. Also convenient to work to Capitol and Air and Space Museum. There is a nice Catholic Church about 3 blocks away. Free breakfast was very good with a lot of self serve options. If you arrive early or have to check out earlier than you need to to catch your transportation home, they will store your luggage until you return to pick it up. There is also a 24 hour convenience store to pick up incidentals or some simple food items and beverages. Staff was very friendly and very helpful.
Mostly very good but w had to ask for items. Breakfast was very good but sometimes ran out of popular items. The pool was a disaster. It was more irresponsible parent but a group of early teenage boys got to slamming each other with pool noodles. I was hot twice my grandson once. We had to leave the pool and never attempted to use it again. The room was a perfect fit.
