The hotel features an attractive lobby with a view of the atrium and an impressive glass sculpture. Guest rooms provide traditional décor, upscale linens, 55-inch TVs and city or mountain views. Loyal guests will appreciate the concierge lounge on the ground floor. A popular coffee shop is available on the lobby level. Smoke free premises. 217 units. 7 stories, interior corridors.

Great location. The restaurants were understaffed and lots of food on the menu unavailable. Same for the Starbucks. Otherwise great stay. Quiet convenient location. SOme work being done on the elevators but did not disturb me. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Fitness center had lots of cardio options. I would definitely stay here again.
When we got there and went to our first room it was dirty, including a dental floss pick on the floor, so we got another room. That room had an overpowering strong odor when we walked in the door like someone had thrown up on the carpet or something worse. Finally, we were given an upgraded room that was CLEAN. We were disappointed that there was no info about restaurants nearby or even about the restaurant in the hotel! We were happy with how close it was to the University of Utah Medical Center. The parking lot had several potholes and the building just seemed old and tired. All in all, we were expecting a better experience from a Marriott hotel.
