Hotel is dated and smells like mildew

Hotel was clean and staff was marginally friendly, but maid service does not come every day. The area was safe. They were fixing the elevator and woke up to the fire alarm a couple of mornings but was quickly silenced. The room was small for more than one person. No closet and limited drawer space for clothing. Walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors. The breakfast was nothing special but was reasonable for the price point. The swimming pool is more for show than anything, you can't really do much in it (quite small). This is a good option for a reasonable price for a couple of nights, if you are staying longer, you should get a bigger room or stay at a bigger resort/hotel. Not the most convenient location to New Orleans, but a good middle point if you are going to do more than go to Bourbon Street.
