This luxurious inn is perfectly situated on the grounds of the Biltmore Estate. The rooms feature custom wood furnishings and amenities discreetly adorned with the Vanderbilt logo. The marble-floored lobby features Victorian-era fabrics and quality woodwork. The hotel offers a fine dining room, a library, a bar with terrace, a modern exercise room and same-day dry cleaning. Also on the grounds—and open to the public—is the 250-room, château-style mansion completed in 1895 for millionaire George Washington Vanderbilt. The luxurious grounds were designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, famous for his work on New York's Central Park. Smoke free premises. 210 units. 7 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

I was told that I would have to buy tickets for the tour of the house when I arrived at the hotel. This is wrong. I thankfully did get tickets but not until the last day we were there. I was not informed of the parking fees and added taxes to the bill. I feel I could have done this myself. I expect more from AAA. Past trips were very informative but not this one.
