AAA Diamond Inspector Notes

A memorable experience awaits at this classic Nantucket-style inn. Guest rooms and cottages are richly appointed with unique furnishings and luxurious fabrics. Beautiful artwork adorns each room. Highlights of your stay may include a peaceful day lounging in a padded chair on the great lawn, taking in sweeping views of the bay, or enjoying a variety of complimentary recreational activities. Each afternoon, guests are invited to the library for cheese, port, and sherry tastings. Seasonal activities add to the experience, including summer boat excursions to private picnic spots (note: there is a charge for picnic lunches provided by the restaurant). During the shoulder season, unique tours are offered—such as an oyster cruise that takes guests to the property’s own oyster farm. A nostalgic tour in the seasonal 1949 Plymouth Woody Wagon provides an engaging ride through the historic Siasconset fishing village, offering insight into island life dating back to the 1600s. A Nantucket Bay cruise into town is available throughout the season, and a four-wheel-drive natural history excursion to Great Point Lighthouse runs most of the year. Guests also enjoy complimentary use of a BMW during their stay, with reservations available upon arrival. At sunset, relax on the lower deck’s cozy seating area and take in breathtaking views of the beach and oyster farm—perhaps while savoring fresh oysters and a glass of champagne. Smoke free premises. 33 units, some cottages. 1-3 stories (no elevator), interior/exterior corridors. Bath: shower only. Accessibility (Call).
