The historic lobby features a two-story stone fireplace. Some of the motel-style rooms are somewhat small. It's worth splurging on a room in the main building or a room with a jetted tub for two. After fire damaged the property, the owner rebuilt the hotel section using reclaimed wood throughout including the accents, handrails, trim, hotel desk and some headboards. Take a few minutes to visit the mezzanine for a pictorial history of the builidng. As an added bonus, you can snowmobile in and out from the lodge or motel in the back, which has at-door parking. Pets are allowed in the motel only. Smoke free premises. 70 units. 1-2 stories (no elevator), interior/exterior corridors.
