On 27 wooded acres overlooking Pleasant Bay, the inn offers luxurious cottage units in the New England tradition. This luxurious waterfront resort is known for their romantic ambiance, impeccable service , stunning views and grounds. It is a popular choice for couples celebrating a special occasion and those looking for a perfect family-friendly destination, with an outdoor amphitheater and a pirate-theme interactive water playground with treasure chests, fountains and a pirate ship complete with slides and swinging ropes. The high-tech children's center features a 135-inch HD screen for Wii, PlayStation and Xbox 360 gaming. Activities include dive-in movies, teen gaming nights and lessons in swimming, sailing and tennis. A fun play on the 1960s "Good Humor" ice cream truck makes special appearances throughout the property in summer, handing out complimentary ice cream and Popsicles to families. The driver is dressed in an authentic uniform complete with a cap. The boardwalk is a great place for a morning jog and is the location of the charter boat rentals, fishing and kayak tours. Theres even a boat launch to Outer Beach to observer the famous resident seals. A range of other activities, including an adult-only lap pool and professional lessons available on the Har-Tru clay tennis and pickleball courts.
