The low-rise, work-a-day commercial structures and other-worldly colorful restaurants of Chinatown surround this impressive, yet intimate high-rise hotel. Nice room with very pleasant staff and pretty convenient location. Room fridge didn't work, and there was a strong air freshener smell throughout the hotel that I didn't much like.

Through AAA, I booked a Superior Double Room for 3 adults, and received a Standard Room with one double bed. We were told there was NOTHING else available, and eventually was given a 20% discount, which did NOT alleviate the fact that we squeezed 3 adults into this tiny space. They brought in a twin-sized roll-away, which could only fit in front of the door, which we then could not open. It was a disaster. We will never book through AAA again, nor stay at the Wyndham.
